Camping with Cubs

Hello

At the wkend i went camping with some cubs at cranbury park in Hampshire. 14 cubs went with 5 leaders including me. On Saturday we put up the tents then we went on a 3 hr hike(it was a really short hike that i could of done in half the time but they walk so slow). After that we played some Frisbee and football. We ended up getting the Frisbees stuck a lot in the trees. We had tea around 6 which was fish & chips form goodies. Next we had a fun camp fire with all the songs and stuff. Then went to 'sleep' around 10. Of course none of them slept as cubs never sleep whilst camping as they are silly. Us leaders then went back up to the fire and chilled for 3 hr with some beer :). so we went to bed at 1. The cubs woke up around half 5 which woke us leaders up. So i didn't get much sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sunday, we made them cook breakfast. Fried bread, Bacon and backed beans. Then we put down the tents and tried to locate everything that the cubs had lost. They all left to go home around half 11.

For the rest of Sunday i just chilled until 9.10 when Hannah picked me up to take me to Driftwood's gig at the Talking Heads. About 10 of us were there to support them. The show didn't go completely to plan. They hadn't practiced at all and they weren't bothered about anything as they were so tired. They had quite a few technical problems and Luke's guitar was out of tune. There was no whitty comments and no Pokemon. Alex was v hyper as he had red bull. Alex+red bull+piano= something v funny

I enjoyed the evening. Not sure if they did. I took some pics but they are all quite dark so I'll spend 2morrow photoshoping them

Not much has been going on i my life. Tom's caterpillar cake was nice. I'm annoyed that he gave the head to becky. This Sunday is Driftwood's gig at the Talking heads which i'll try to go to even though i have no idea how to get there. I may take the train.

My last post went a bit wrong as i was doing it via my ipod which doesn't let me type anywhere other then in the title box. Sillly ipod. Hence the post was short as the title box has a limited amount of characters.

Anyway college is gd and it's fairly sunny.

Just finished watching the f1. Button came 6th which is good enough. he's still top of the championship by over 20 points :)

Right on to Tom's party which was fab

The party was on friday night to saturday morning. I was first to arrive which was a bit after 6. 8 of us where there: Me, Tom, Jen, Becky, Adam, Andrew, Katie and Jo. I had a gd time and i got quite drunk.

We had a barbecue cooked meal for tea which took it's time to get going as we had too much coal. We had a lot of burgers and sausages and i don't think anyone suffered from food poisoning. We burnt a lot of the grass as Jo started a fire with the coal we took off. Jo drank quite a lot and she didn't even stay the night.

all together we had 21 beers and 6 barcardi breezers between the 8 of us.

I've got a confession to make. I've never been anything more than tipsy before but at the end of Friday i was quite out of it. I kept on falling over and having fits of laughter.

Jen and Jo left about 11 as they had work in the morning. Jen is such a lightweight as she was all over the place and drank hardly anything. The rest of us stayed the night in some tents.

tom got quite a few gifts. Chocolate and £10 from me. Cake, some snaps, haribo, Quality street and tropic thunder from Jen and Adam. He got Brownies and a picture frame with pics of him from Andrew and Katie.

We decide to watch topic thunder at about half 11. It's a good film. tom and becky didn't see much of it as they were on the floor having fun time ;). After the film we decided to go to bed at around half 1. I had a eventful walk to my tent which involved me falling over a lot. Adam was worried about staying in a tent with me especially when i cracked up laughing cause i couldn't do up the tent. All together i had 5 beers and some barcardi breezers

I had a gd night sleep except i was woken up around 5 due to the annoying rain.

We all woke up about 9 and then we decided to help tom clean up before the rents got back from reading.

I enjoyed my day and i believe tom is going to bring some of his cake to college 2morrow for us to devourer.

Today is father's day and i gave him a card, toblerone and some socks (he asked for some socks i wasn't being weird)

Anyway i best get back to doing history HW

I'm bored so i thought i would do some blogging :)

My S1 exam on Monday went fine. I finished 10 mins before the end and the ones i checked i got the same answer for. Hopefully i did well.

I'm right now talking to Tom on FB as explorers tonight has just gone crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy. we were planing to go to Knightwood leisure center to take pics for the project our group has been set. But this changed as 5 mins ago we were told by the leaders to go to Hiltinbury at 8 for a short meeting. Talk about short notice. So now we won't do any work towards our project :@.

Anyway yesterday i installed update 3.0 for my ipod touch which was supposed to make the ipod a lot better. I admit it has a lot of features but only a few are useful. So I'll give my review on the main features as I'm so cool :)

First feature is CUT, COPY AND PASTE. This is easily done and could be useful if u use ur ipod a lot for mailing. Basically u just hold down on some text and a box pops up. U press select or select all. Then u change what u want selected then u click copy. SIMPLES. To paste u do the same thing just click paste. SIMPLES

Second feature is u can now buy movies and tv shows off the itunes app.

Third is more stuff that can be landscaped and that can use the bigger landscape keyboard. Like Notes and messaging.

Forth feature is SPOTLIGHT SEARCH. which searches the entire ipod for whatever i like. Such as If i type in 'That' it brings up all songs with the word 'that' in it.

If i type in 'Ross' it brings up my melody (don't ask) and all my emails.

The other features are shake to shuffle and safari now saves ur passwords. There are many more but those are the main ones.

I had to pay £5.99 for this update and it wasn't worth it. The last update was as it brought in apps and app store which was amazing. Useful update but not worth the money.

Back at College

I'm back at college :(. Actually I'm enjoying college and all my lessons. In history i knew no-one but I've made friends :). In physics i knew like 3 people. In maths well who don't i know. There is Adam, Andrew, Max(from my as physics class), a guy from my AS maths, James Severdsjkfjslkfs (actually spelt as Severgnini) and another 2 members from my tutor group. Brilliant class.

I've currently been back at college for two days and it's been gd. I like most of my teachers. Physics teach is nice but v crazy, History teach is nice but gives us a lot of work, maths teach is just nice. :)

I've uploaded a vid of me, James, and Tom on stealth. It was taken by Emily so THANK U EMILY.

Last Monday i went to cubs which was fun. My cubs are weird and funny. They played some bench ball and the final score was 45-12. The winning cubs were like we owning and powning u. Made me laugh at how cubs were using words like that. To be a cub u have to be in KS2 so they are young. And that was that evening done.

Thorpe Park

On Friday months of organizing and getting stressed out paid of. We all went to Thorpe Park and it was a blast. Of course not everything went to plan but i still had a great day. 

I have been organizing this trip for months and Hannah was 2ND in command. 

We had all arranged to meet up at Chandler's Ford Station where a mini-bus driven by Hannah's mum would take us to the park. I got to the station at 8.15 and i told everyone to be there at 8.20 hence i was surprised to see most people were already there. Now before we left 2 things went wrong: 1st. The mini-bus was late and arrived at 8.45 cause it apparently couldn't get out of a driveway cause of another car. Hence we left late and arrive at the park for 10. (I wanted to get there earlier so we were in for opening time). 2ND. Jared who was supposed to come with us never turned up. We waited till 8.50 and then gave up. We phoned and texts him many times and we still haven't had any reply. So 11 of us went. Me, Emily, Tom, Alex, Steve, Bass, Hannah, James, Andy, Jacob and Saff.

So we got there and everyone paid their money. Then we split up in to two groups. I stayed with Ems and Tom. Emily doesn't like rides so our mission was to start small and slowly but surly she would like rides more. This of course failed. We started small with things like flying fish, X:/No Way Out (i love this ride so much. Best ride in the park) and Quantum . Then out of frustration of me still not going on anything big as me hanging out with ems i tried to make her go on rush. This failed but i still went on it with Alex, Tom and saff. Then i think we had a quick lunch due to a lot of us wanting to ride Stealth. So stealth was awesome and it produced this: 

I love stealth. Each time i ride it the funnier the picture of me is. This means when i go back to Thorpe on July 7Th with maths the stealth pic will be even better. I love stealth so much. It wakes me up and makes my hair wonderfully windswept. I want to go on it every morning.

Next i decided to doing something i hadn't done before. See time voyagers. Whilst we were queuing Emily pulled this face (look at pic). That's Emily being a Chinese old man. Time Voyagers is a 3d show with water and seat vibration. It had replaced pirates 4-d. I thought pirates was better. Time voyagers made no sense whatsoever but we did get more wet. 

Then after messing around a bit we ended up near saw. I wanted to ride but Tom and Ems didn't so i looked for a single rider entrance but there wasn't one. I didn't want to queue for 70 mins by myself so i called upon Steve and Saff to join me. They did. We all went on it and it was so gd. Hannah, alex, andy and bass also went on saw. It's such a gd ride. The inside bit is amazing and absolutely scary. Whilst queuing ur surrounded by many traps from the films which spooked me and saff out. Then inside there are many sound effects which kept making saff jump. We boarded our train and i was terrified. All i could see ahead of me was darkness. I will explain what happens inside but i urge u if ur going to ride this do not read this as it will seriously spoil the ride's experience. The car turns a corner and jigsaw comes along on his bike. Says the usual thing like i want to play a game blah blah blah. Then u turn a corner and suddenly u see two double ended axes and ur heading straight towards them (AHHHHHHH). Of course instead of hitting them you drop just before them and instead come v close to some spikes. Then u stop and listen to some scaring sound effects. Then u do a barrel roll. When ur upside down there is a dead body beneath you lovely. Then you go outside. This lift is hell but is over quickly. The ride is amazing. 2ND best in park (1st. Stealth, 3rd Colossus, 4Th Nemesis).

So my day was great. It wasn't dry but i didn't care. Also i can now once again say that i have been on every ride in Thorpe Park. 

2day i had my history unit 2 exam. It went fine. For part b i did Attlee. gd exam

Nothing left to say. 2morrow i start college again joy.

Drifting with Driftwood

Stuff has been happening in my life for once :)

Tuesday i had my history exam which Jen nearly missed. Silly Jen. I found it ok. Civil rights went better then Stalin. gd exam. I then had a bus ride home with James collier. He's so cool but not.

Yesterday i went to the railway pub in Winchester with Jen and Emily. We arrived at 8.30 instead of 8 cause of Jen's friend. We were there to see DRIFTWOOD? play. They are a band made up of Alex Gatherer (Piano Player/Guitar), Luke Boult (Singer/Guitar) and Stephen Springate (Drummer). After finding the music room in the pub we went inside. We hadn't missed DRIFTWOOD? They were on 2nd out of 5. They played for like 30 mins and they were gd. Steve was much better drumming and started to show some emotion near the end. The gameboy thing was amazing. After DRIFTWOOD? were CAPITAL X who were awesome just because they were techno and that they were giving away free stickers :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Then it was the Machetes who in my opinion were the best group there. DRIFTWOOD? were 2nd. There is a vid of that night on facebook but here are some pics:

I've spent a lot of time in front of my computer this week watching all things about E3. I love E3 so much. Microsoft has a new camera which looks amazing. Sony had some controller that could be tracked by their current camera which is being made by the same team that did eyetoy which means it will be awesome. and Nintendo was boring all they are doing is 3 Mario games and wii fit plus. There are also many games being shown of at E3. Assassin's creed 2 looks gd and there was some ultimate alliance footage and i love that game. E3 still isn't over. They are on their last day.

2morrow I'm going to Thorpe Park with 11 other peeps. Should be gd. can't wait. I'll blog about that 2morrow night.

no i won't as I'm round my Gran's house. My rents are going away 2morrow to Cornwall for their 25Th anniversary (i think i mentioned this last blog) till Tuesday. So I'm spending a lot of time round my Gran's house with no Internet :(. But I'll also be home a lot as I'll be revising. yes i still have exams :(. History on Monday and Statistics a week on Monday. That statistics exam is on a closure day which I'm not happy about :(.

oh well. I'll blog about my day 2morrow on Saturday i think.

It's June. and it's sunny. But I'm stuck in side revising .

2morrow I have my unit 1 history exam with I'm not looking forward to. Not at all.

And all together that is £425.65!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully June will be a cheaper month.

College starts a week 2morrow which should be ok. I haven't seen people in ages.

On Wednesday I'm going to my friends gig with ems and Jen which should be a blast no matter how bad the band is.

My life has been quite boring recently.

Saturday was the BGT final and i was happy with the winners. I didn't really care who won just not Boyle cause otherwise there was no point in watching the final. I like Adrian in the auditions but i didn't like him in the finals as he's a dancer so he shouldn't need a treadmill. He can slide. My parents were amazed by the effects he had behind him even though they were simple.
