Physics was hard :(

Hello there

On Thursday I had a physics exam which I found really hard. It was stupid and I left many questions blank. Everyone else also found it hard so I'm not by myself. Stupid OCR. I'm now not looking forward to March 11th which is going to come round v quickly.

My computer is back and it actually works :). Hence I've spent the wkend slowly putting everything back onto it. I'm surprised they got it working though it cost me enough. £135.13 just to replace the hard drive with a 150GB hard drive and see if it all works. But I now have 30 more GB as my old hard drive was 120GB. I guess they couldn't get hold of one. It's annoying cause at Pc World they are selling a 160GB hard drive for £35. I've been ripped off :(.

I just watched the crazy amazing Final Fantasy trailer (the one with Leona Lewis) downstairs on my lovely tv and it was amazing. Graphics were astonishing. So I though I would embed it. ok so u can't watch it from within this blog. Still click on it and it'll will take u somewhere.

Plus yesterday we got a new tv. I had no part in making my parents do this. I tried to stop them as I didn't think it needed upgrading but they didn't listen. Damn impulse buying. So we got a new 26 inch tv for the dining room so now we'll be unsociable whilst having tea. I'm happy as now when I'm kicked out of the lounge into the dining room my games will still look amazing.

So that be it. I'm off to Liverpool on Wednesday for a uni visit day and a interview :(. Hopefully it'll go fine.

F=MA is the answer to all of life's questions

It's true. In Mechanics we had a whole lesson where we constantly used F=MA and we came up that it's the answer to everything. Here's a scene: I'm on Who wants to be a millionaire. Let's say I'm on the 128,000 question. Along comes a question I have no idea about. I say, 'Ok I have no idea and I have no lifelines left but F=MA'. Chris Tarrant is amazed by this and gives me the millions pounds. I win. Simple. :)

Right back to life, today was Saffron's birthday. She didn't want to make a big thing about it but I didn't want that to happen. So I gave her a big badge and made most of upper paul woodhouse cheer after our group sang happy birthday. This way everyone knew what today was. We also made her go to the pub. She didn't really wanted to go but with a bit of persuasion she did. This pub was of course the Jolly Farmer which had a lot of students in it hence we had to sit outside in the rain. James ended up downing some WKD in a few seconds even though he had lessons next which I'm gonna guess didn't go well.

Is it me or are there loads of reality tv shows on right now. There's Celeb big brother and Dancing on ice. But then there is also So u think u can dance? which is only here so that the judge, that got kick out of strictly to try and make it more current, has something to do. Then there is sky having the exact same show but called Got to dance and hosted by Davina Mccall. Reality tv shows are boring, annoying and shouldn't be allowed on tv.

Physics exam tomorrow :(. But then that's it and I can relax till May :).

I spoke to u last on Tuesday. A lot has happened since then.

On Wednesday I had my Maths C3 exam. It went ok (neither great or bad). Section A was nice but qus 8 & 9 were tricky. I understood qu 8 mostly but it took me an age to do so I only had 20 mins for qu 9. Hopefully I did well enough. According to what I've heard most people found those questions hard which should lower the grade boundaries :)

Wednesday night I went to guides. Not because I'm a girl though I apparently have a cervix (don't ask). But because us scouts were challenged to a quiz night on 2009 which we lost :(. Though it was close, the winner kept on changing. So they got some sweeties and we did not.

One of the questions was what type of animal were the superheroes from the film G-force. The answer was Guinea Pigs. I seem to remember from the advert that there was a mole as well as those crazy guinea pigs. Anyway I feel like I've been a Guinea pig all my life (well since yr 8).

In yr 8 I was first told I was a Guinea pig and that all our yr was as well, as we were testing taking the English SATs a yr early. The next yr, we were still guinea pigs but this time testing the new yr 9 course where we had no reason to do well as there was no exam. In yr 10 and 11, I stopped being a guinea pig though I think the science course may have been new. In AS I wasn't a guinea pig but in A2 I'm testing everything. An new A* grade, a new history course on China and the Cold war and a new physics course. I want to stop being a Guinea Pig :(. Actually that's a lie I would love to be a Guinea Pig if we got to save the World like in G-Force.

Thursday was a normal day but Friday was quite different. I missed History, Tutor and general studies :O. Don't worry I have my excuses. Warning the next bit isn't happy at all. I was at my friend's mum's funeral. His name is Dan and he's in yr 11. I met him in scouts and we got on quite well. His mum passed away recently due to cancer hence we thought some scouts should attend the funeral to help him though this hard time. there were five scouts (me, Tom, Jamie, Paul and Alex) and two explorers leaders. Technically I'm a leader as now I'm 18 I can no longer be an explorer. This was my first ever funeral. It was an upsetting service though I had never met her. Dan was actually taking it well it seemed but he was probably just hiding his true emotions. I think he was glad we turned up.

On a happier note I just went driving on the motor-way with my dad. It wasn't actually that bad as it's like a duel carriage way just with an extra lane. Though u have to be going quite fast to join the motor-way.

I've got a weird song stuck in my head for no reason

It's saffron's birthday on Wednesday so I want everyone to make a big thing about it cause she wants to do nothing but I wont let her.

Right that be it. I best get back to revising for my physics exam on Thursday. After that I'll be done exam wise and I'll be able to relax.

100th post :)/ Fudge has gone away :(

I thought to celebrate this event I would change the look of my blog.

Do u like the new design of my blog? is it too happy? I'm normally happy and now so is my blog background. This is basically what i chose after 2 hrs of looking at different themes. Some worked and some really didn't but this was the best. It may stay like this or not. I'll see if people approve of it.

Right what have I been up to. I spent the wkend revising for my maths exam 2morrow. I also went on a drive by myself. Not v far as I wasn't that confident but I loved it. It was weird not having anyone telling me where to go. I also drove myself to cubs yesterday.

I have an exam 2morrow. Maths C3 in the afternoon. I'm confident that I'll do well.

More news on my computer. We sent it to a computer help place and they say that apparently it needs a new hard drive. I think it needs a new everything.

Fudge has gone away for a v long time. My next door neighbors , Dave and lyneta, have a cat that spends a lot of his life round our house and with me. But they have now moved house so they can be closer to Dave's work place in Manchester. Of course the cat went with them. I don't think he'll be v happy as he hates change. They may come back one day but they are staying in this new house for at least a year. So we'll soon have some new neighbors. That could be interesting. I'll miss fudge :(.

I was just watching heroes and it was actually quite gd though ign seemed to disagree :(. I also found a graph on wikipedia that I found quite shocking. Mainly what happens after one episode of season 2.

Happiness with nothing else

99Th post :)

So in a shocking twist my driving test wasn't cancelled. I really thought it was going to be. My road is still like a sheet of ice. But it went ahead as the test route was ice free. So I had my test at 10.44. It went v well and I passed :). I only had 2 minors (I got 10 last time(If u get 15 u fail)) and of course no majors. One of them was because I went over the kerb when I was parking but that was due to the ice. The 2 maneuvers were a turn in the road and a bay park. Both went fine first time. So now I can legally drive :)

Also I missed physics where I would of had a mock

But I'm IDless :(. No alcohol for me. As when u pass they take away ur provisional license and the new one will arrive in the post soon. I could use my passport but I'm scared I'll loose it.

I just went to scouts where I was awarded my chief scout silver :)

I'm happy :)

Happiness with a hint of sadness

I'm both happy and annoyed at the same time. It's weird. Things in green are y I'm happy and red is the annoying stuff.

It's snowy again but nobody cares.

I've had enough of this snow. It wasn't easy getting to college today but I had to as I had an exam. Physics retake cause I got an E in it in the summer. This time it went well. I started off badly but section C was a breeze :). So I had lots of time left over to go back to the bits I struggled on. So that made me happy.

My history teacher has set me an essay to do for Mon. Sure 800 words but I have something called exams.

I have a cough :(

I was gonna have my driving test tomorrow. I don't think that will now happen. Damn snow. When I took my first test back on the 13/11 I would of loved it to be delayed. I really felt I was going to fail and I did. I'm currently a heck of a lot more confident. I think I can pass. Hence I'm annoyed that it's not happening.

Gran Turismo has been delayed. AGAIN. It was supposed to be out just after the launch of the PS3 and that was 4 yrs ago this March.

Heroes is Bad. Well the last 2 eps were bad. It's been quite a gd season.

I love snow

I love missing college

Hence I've loved this 5 day wkend

It's right now snowing and it's gonna snow alot on Sunday so college next wk might not be happening. Sadly either way exams will be be on as exam boards (OCR, AQA, Edequel) are silly and don't move exam dates no matter how bad the weather is. So basically I have to get to college on Wednesday morning or I'll be forced to resit in Summer and have to pay £20.

But there is a gd side of snow. Wednesday I had a great snow day with James, Emily, Saff and Alex. Sure we did more walking then snowball fighting but it was a gd meet up. It didn't stop snowing for the whole of wednesday. Also it was a gd time for me to test my new camera which I now officially love. Also as snow means no college I have been home revising on Thursday, Friday, today and tomorrow. I'm really happy these days have come because if I were to go to college I wouldn't do much work whereas these days at home I've done loads of revising. However I need to get back soon to college as we haven't learnt everything for my physics exam on the 28th.

If college does happen next wk (depends on how bad this snow is on Sunday) then we have to deal with that stupid timetable.

Well that's about it

stupid closure of st cross rd

It's 2010

New years was awful. It really was. I didn't even see the naughties transform into the tens. I had a whole party planned at Andrew's and it was going to be awesome. But on the eve I was ill and sick hence i didn't go. I went to bed at half 8 planning to get up 3 hrs later to see the new year. I actually got up at half 8 the next day. It was a lovely 12hr sleep. I felt ill on both New years day and the day after. I'm fine now :). So that was a bad start to the year.

New years day was my mum's birthday. I got her JLS' Album. She had a gd day.

So now I'm back at college. First exam is in a wk 2morrow. Because of that college has a stupid timetable next wk so that if u have a morning exam u don't miss any lessons. If u haven't seen the timetable then here it is:

11.35-12.15 Period 1

12.15-12.55 Period 2

12.55-13.05 Tutor

13.05-13.55 lunch

13.55-14.35 Period 3

14.35-15.15 Period 4

15.15-15.55 Period 7

15.55-16.35 Period 8+9

So every singe is 40 mins. Doubles are 80 except the ones at the end which are 40. Everyone starts later but if u were to finish before 4.35 u now finish later.

Another thing more messed up then this is my bluestar timetable which consequently meant I got home at 7. Actually it was more the snows fault but u can't be angry at snow(it's snowing right now :)) . As St. cross road is closed our bus has a whole new route that adds supposedly 7 mins onto our journey. However as st. cross road is the main route into Winchester it means there is a lot of traffic.

Going back to today I finish at 4.35. Traffic was everywhere due to everyone leaving early as they were all scared they were going to be snowed in and general rush hour and closure of st. cross road. The bus arrived at the train station at 4.45. I decided to wait at the next stop. The bus driver was for once nice. Now due to the amount of traffic the bus was unable to get to the other side of the crossroads without blocking all the cars. so it would end up on the middle of the crossroads for quite some time. Hence it decided to wait for a really big gap which of course never came. 20 mins later he decided to go for it. so it i did hence it soon got past the crossroads but made many cars angry. traffic was still awful so I walked up to get on the nice warm us. Basically it took an hour and 3 quarters to get from the train station to the bus station.

Well that's about it. Hopefully no college 2morrow. They are going to post their decision at 5 am if it will be open.

I love the snow :) I just looked outside and it's properly settled :)
