2 weeks of uni in 1 crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy post

So I'm now at the university of Greenwich in Kent and ave been for 2 wks. It's been an epic 2 wks but I won't be detailing every second of it as otherwise this post would be massive. First off, just to reassure u lot, I love uni even though the work has now started and I ave a 10 page essay to write. I been cooking for myself most days and I'm enjoying the independence though the experience was a bit scary for the first few days.

My room is definitely big enough and so is r kitchen. The university of Kent, who shares r campus, ave better accommodation and pay less and ave a Tesco, dominos and subway on site. I'm jealous even if the don't live on campus like me. I share my flat with 5 other people though one, who is Chinese, we see nothing of. We ave never seen him in the kitchen to feed himself so we ave no idea how he's being fed. The other 4 r cool and I get on well with them.

Now onto freshers wk which has to be one of my weirdest wks ever. Afternoon sleeps were the norm for everyone mainly cause I can't sleep past 10 and I got back most nights at 3am.

On Saturday I was the first to move in. I unpacked then went on a final lunch with my family and then I said my goodbyes. However when I got back to the falt I found another persons stuff in the kitchen but I never saw anything of this person till Sunday. This meant I was the only one that moved in on Saturday so when I went to the bbq at 5 I knew no one :(. But due to 2nd/3rd yrs being friendly and a speed meet thing I quickly made friends and met people who were on my course. On Sunday the other 5 flatmates arrived. Later on there was another free bbq and a rock and roll Bingo where ur given a sheet with 9 tracks and it's the 1st person to have all their tracks played. Monday was a School Disco where I dressed in a white shirt and tie and I partied hard till 2 am. Tuesday was a pub crawl where I found my local weatherspoons. I think we visited a total of 4 pubs which is better than what I normally achieve with the cf crew. Wednesday was neon rave where I wore neon paint, colourful clothing, uv hair spray, glitter and a slinky which made me look like this:

It was a fun night :). On Thursday we went to a club called casino rooms. It has 3 dancefloors and the top one is humongous. Also every Thursday, due to it being student night, it's free entrance and 3 for 1 drinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Friday night thinks started to get interesting, as due to me playing a drinking game, I was forced to down 1 1/3 pints of some Stella and Sainsbury cider contraption and snort some. As u can see I wasn't v lucky. Finally it was Saturday and the night of the freshers ball. Not sure if it was worth £14 but it was gd fun and the band that played 1st were brilliant. Also there was a face painting stand which transformed me into this:

I also forgot to mention that throughout freshers' wk I had an induction wk for my course which resulted in me somedays starting at 9 and being v tired.

This wk, unlike freshers' wk, has zoomed by. I started my course and the lectures went fine though I've already had some coursework set :(.

And that was my 2 wks. Luckily throughout these 2 wks I was only hungover once and that was the 1st Sunday morning :).

Bye Bye Chandler's Ford

So this Saturday I'm going off to Kent to enjoy the wonders of uni :). Should be gd but it's scarily close and I'm gonna miss everyone. Sure we will meet up at Christmas loads but that seems ages away (even though shops have started selling advent calenders). This time next week I'll be cooking all my meals and doing all the washing. Also it's annoying as I know no one else who is going to my university.

Anyway, I ave't blogged in a while. I been clubbing on both Tuesdays cause Tuesday is student night :). I enjoyed myself a lot. We seem to spend most of r time at Reflex cause 80's music is amazing.

Last Thursday I went to Thorpe Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went with Jacob, James, Alex and Colin. The weather, for once, was actually gd (that means there was sun and it only rained for 20 mins) and there were barley any queues. The longest was for Nemesis which was around 3/4 of a hour but that was only because someone was sick. We went on basically everything and rumba rapids twice as it's that epic. We also went on the new weird maze thing 'Saw Alive'. It's actually a fun experience but depending how far back u r the less scary it was. It mainly involves a lot of actors jumping out at u. It's gd fun but I can't see it being v much fun the 2nd time round. We spent a whole 7hours in the park and now I can once again say that I've been on every ride in Thorpe Park :)

On Sunday I went to see what was Ragnarok but now is Icarus Rising. That actually played really well. We were all completely shocked when, at the end of the gig, they announced the name change. Life will never be the same again :(.

Yesterday I took my Granny out to the Cleveland Bay to catch up and to say bye before uni. We had a lovely meal. Then yesterday night I went to Alex's for a farewell party. It was a bit emotional as I won't see a lot of them till Christmas but it was still a fun party. I stayed round for a whole hour after everyone else had left which I spent reminiscing with Alex. It's going to be weird going to a different educational place and we've always gone to the same school/college and I've known him basically since birth.

tomorrow I've set a side for packing though it won't take long.

So the next time I'll talk to u lot I'll be at uni :o.

Wicked was well wicked :)

Hello there

I aven't blogged in over a wk and a half. sorry about that

On Wednesday I went to see Wicked in the London's Apollo Victoria Theatre and it was just amazing. The story was completely different to what I thought it was going to be and it means I can never watch the Wizard of Oz in the same way. All the actors and actresses could sing amazingly well especially the girl who played Elphaba (the green witch). I would say more but I don't want to spoil the story.

On Friday and Saturday I was supposed to go gliding but it was cancelled due to a lack of instructors :(. So I didn't get to go into a plane with no engine which would be towed into the sky by a plane with an engine, then the plane would fly off without me, to leave my plane to fall with no engine. I know it sounds suicidal but it's not and it would of been fun.

This meant that on Saturday I could celebrate Stephen's birthday which was over a wk ago. We first of went round his house for a bbq then we went to the king Rufus for some alcohol :)

Today I was supposed to go to the dentist but apparently I didn't ave an appointment. My mum was sure she booked one but I'm still blaming her.

Also 2night I'm going out to Southampton to party and such as it's student night :) and on Thursday I'm going to Thorpe Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blogger has recently released a new section where I can see a load of stats about my blog. Apparently the post with the most views was happiness with a hint of sadness. Also most people view my blog from the UK but I ave some views from Iran and China. Most people also use firefox to view my blog but I always use Chrome. Finally since May 2010 I've had 566 views so thanks u lot. U've made my day.

And that is what I've been up to. I only ave 11 days left in Chandler's Ford :O

I get into a Tank

So it's been a wk. I been up to quite a bit. I been cooking my own food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Monday I cooked Chilli Con Carne, Tuesday: Lamb casserole, Wednesday: Tuna and Mushroom Pasta and Thursday: sausages. 


On Wednesday, I once again went to the pub quiz and we had r best ever performance. We came 4th, got full marks in 2 rounds and were 2 points away from coming 3rd and getting some money.


On Saturday I went to a place in Winchester to drive tanks and such. It was my dad's birthday pressy as he has apparently wanted to do it for a while. But he wanted some company, he doesn't ave many friends, so I went a long with him. So I got to drive a Chieftain Main Battle Tank: Now it's not too hard to drive. There is a stick either side of the seat for steering, a throttle and an annoying gear peddle. There is a brake but u don't use it (reassuring isn't it). No clutch which made my life easier and all I had to do is drive it forwards and backwards. Here's a pic for u: 
















Next up was the FV 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier. This also had two steering levers but this time they were in front of the seat. U have to pull them quite hard to make it move. It's automatic but has no brakes (just take ur foot of the pedal). And this one i was allowed to go around a circuit with. Here's a pic and yes that's me driving:

Then it was the Abbot Mobile Gun. It was basically like the carrier but heavier. Here's a pic:

Finally there was some Quad bikes and that was it. I really enjoyed my day out and here's my certificate to prove that it really happened:

Results r in

So results. They came up quickly. It only seems a while ago that we were actually taking the exams. So I Got into Greenwich :). Sadly I didn't get into Cardiff but I'll be v happy at Greenwich (where I'll actually be in Kent). I was happy with all my grades except Maths cause I've had a B in all 4 of the papers but I ended up with an overall C as my coursework was a D. I don't want to work out how close I was to a B as it was probably quite close. But it doesn't matter that much as even if I had gotten that B I wouldn't ave got into Cardiff. 


After I had read my results and gone onto UCAS and read it saying 'Congratulations! Your place at University of Greenwich (G70) to study Mechanical Engineering (H300) has been confirmed.' I decided to go out and party with my friends who had been celebrating since 10. I went to the pub and tired some brilliant cocktails then didn't feel that well the next day. I'm a lightweight but I don't care. 


Friday and today i been doing hardly anything except practising ironing :) 


Anyway I forgot to do two things on my last blog. Ask where in Cyprus GEORGE FRANK OWEN BARK went (I found out at the pub that he went all over Cyprus (Both North and South)) and have an X factor Rant. Now if u look at the bottom of this post u'll see what time i started writing this and it was whilst X factor was on (which is still on now). I would normally watch X factor but now that it's in its 7th(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) series it's gotten boring. And what happened to Joe. The same thing that happens to all the winners. They disappear then reappear a yr later when we r already focused on the new contestants. Also the show is on for two long as it's on now till Christmas which is  4 months away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm back :)

Yep i'm finally back from my trip to Cyprus. It was amazing and v hot. High 30s everyday even though there was more cloud this year and we even think that it rained once over night though we never saw it. So my whole family (all 4 of us) and Vicky (my sister's best friend) went to North Cyprus quite close to Kyrenia. We had a different villa this time which was just as gd but in some ways better. I didn't really get up to much other than sunbathing and I still don't ave much off a tan. But, like I said I might, me and my parents (the girls didn't want to) climbed a mountain. Well we were driven up most of it but we walked the last leg. It was still hard mainly due to the heat. The mountain had a castle called St Hilarion all around it. We went all the way up to the peak which was 732m/2401.574803ft. We also went to an abbey called Bellapais which wasn't that interesting. I went to the beach twice and had a meal where u cook the food on a stone grill and the meat was wonderful. I also brought a kinder egg toy over there and an Ülker Toto which is a Turkish rip of of a kinder egg. Amazingly the kinder egg toy I got was from a set that i already had one of which is basically impossible due to how many sets there are. So i now ave 21 kinder toys and 1 Ülker Toto. That's 22 altogether which is the no. of my house. Here is an advert for an Ülker Toto just so u can see how alike they really r.

And that was my holiday. I currently haven't put my pics on my computer but they will soon appear in a post.

I'm off on holiday :)

I aven't been up to much this wk. I went to the pub quiz on Wednesday and once again lost. I've been speaking to Tom quite a bit. He's enjoying Canada but he's finding Chemistry hard. He also has started to learn how to drive. 


2morrow I go off to Cyprus :). The north Turkish bit. Kyrenia. Should be gd though we'll be mainly sunbathing which I find boring. I may go climb a mountain to keep myself active. I'm fully packed and ready to go. 2morrow I'm getting up at half 4 :( as the taxi is coming at 5.30. Then it's off to Heathrow terminal 5. Sadly, unlike last yr, I won't ave Internet so I won't be able to facebook or blog. How will I live?!? This is because r next door neighbour's villa (the one we had last yr) is currently being used so we r trying out a new villa and as we don't know the owners we can't access the Internet if they had any. We were able to get it last yr as r neighbours gave us the keys to all the secret places so we could set up the network. Oh well. So next time I'll speak to u is when I'll get back unless I go to an Internet cafe.


I get back on the 14 of August.

cub camp and a lot of other stuff

I haven't done any blogging in a while and I've been up to a lot so sit back and enjoy a gd read of my recent life.


I'll start with Friday the 9thy when Alex came round mine for the 1st time in absolutely ages. We mainly played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.


Over the wkend I didn't do much a part from relaxing but i spent Monday watching 3 hrs of Arthur. I didn't intend this to happen. I just wanted to watch the hr long u stink/ we stink band ep so I was looking on wiki to see what it was called only to see that there was another hr special about Christmas and a CGI movie. So i decided to watch all 3 on youtube. Both specials were amazing especially cause the Christmas one referenced Mario. Then it was time for the CGI movie that was hardly a movie due to it being 70 mins long. The problem was, although it was still funny and Arthur at heart, it was in CGI which meant the characters look v different such as here is Arthur's mum. Also they over use jokes such as Buster is on roller-skates crashing into everything for 20 mins. It was enjoyable though.

Monday evening I watched Eclipse which was also enjoyable even if the acting was atrocious. It's definitely the best out of the 3 but that's not that hard to achieve. The fight scene was quite gd and the whole tent scene was hilarious. Just go to it thinking it's a comedy and u may also survive it which is y I laughed so much at Edward's terrified face. Story wise it was also gd but Bella was still as indecisive as ever.


Tuesday I had a family gathering with all my relatives and on Wednesday it was once again time for the pub quiz at the White Horse. There was team N/A consisting off Saff, James, Bass, Zoe, Laura, Jacob and Hannah. There was also team lettuce consisting of me, Alex, Ollie, Eliot Max, Jared, Adam. Lettuce lost :( and N/A came 3rd to last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Thursday was just another day full of relaxation.


Friday and the wkend I spent at a cub camp. there were 38 cubs and 10 leaders and we all stayed at Marwell activity centre. Most of them were well behaved and a few got homesick but not the ones we expected to. The cubs did canoeing, zip wire, an aerial adventure thing and Q bikes. I also got to have a go on a 3g swing as they double booked the zip wire so they moved the cubs onto the swing and there was time at the end for me to ave a go. It's basically just a ginormous swing. Us leaders weren't v happy with the Marwell centre.They offered meals so we decided to have both teas there so we didn't ave to cook or wash up. But everything was either over or under cooked significantly and the portions were small. Also originally all the cubs were going to do the 3g swing but apparently it would of overran its slot even though when one group did have a go there was enough time for me to have a go. Also there were some people who camped next to us who knew some of the staff and they were allowed to do anything. Now we think they booked the zip wire on Sunday and got it because of this. Also they didn't stop using the 3g swing which maybe y we weren't allowed to. Anyway I had a gd time and so did all the cubs and leaders.


Monday i did nothing other than catch up on sleep I lost over the camp and Tuesday I went to see Toy Story 3 in 3d IMAX. It was amazing and worth the extra price as the screen was massive. The film is beautiful and v emotional. We all had a few teary eyed moments. But sometimes they were happy tears and other times they were sad tears. just go watch it as it's still toy story and it's as gd as the other two.


And well that's it. tonight I'm off to the pub quiz to probably loose again but oh well

The Snorlaxes (ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ)

Hi there.


I'm still enjoying my holidays mainly by keeping myself busy. On Tuesday I saw Sherk 4/ the last chapter/ forever after. It wasn't awful but neither was it gd. Not much really happened and everything ended happily. It's the worst film out of the 4 but it's still enjoyable and will have u laughing quite a lot. Story though is pretty weak. It was a nice end to the tale of Shrek but that was about it.


On Wednesday a load of us went to the White horse to have a pub quiz. There were so many of us (16 in fact) that  we ended up being in two equal teams of 8. In my team was Alex, Kiel, Steve, Sarah, Hannah, Bass and Zoe. We called ourselves 'The Snorlaxes' and the other team consisting of Emily, Adam, Andy, James, Saffron, Laura, Emma and Doug called themselves N/A. There were 3 other teams and about 10 rounds. In the end the Snorlaxes lost :( as N/A beat us by 2 points. The other 3 teams did a lot better than us though they were made up of the older generation which most of the questions were for. We r probably going to do the same next wk.


Today I'm just relaxing and 2morrow Alex is coming round mine :)


Now for something completely unrelated, Doctor Who. I realise this finished a few wks ago but I take a while to talk about these things. Overall I liked this series. The new doctor is awesome. Sure he's not up to the standard of Tennant but I didn't expect him to be. The episodes around the weeping angels were outstanding and the 2 part finale was v enjoyable. Sure there were some bad eps like the Darleks one and the ending to the Vincent Van Goth one was horrible. I like the new writer as he's funnier. But I still have one problem with Doctor Who which is that it's a children's programme. Stephen Fry recently said 'they're very good children's programmes, don't get me wrong, they're wonderfully written … but they are not for adults' (this was about Merlin and Doctor Who). Ever since Doctor Who has been back for these 5 series it's felt more and more like a child's programme. This series was the worst. The children already have the Sarah Jane adventures. Us adults used to have Torchwood which wasn't a child's show but that has now ended. An example of this problem is that my cubs who's ages run from 7-10 all watch Doctor Who which shouldn't be he case. so make doctor who more adult.

The Beach!!!

Hello again


I'm slowly starting to get bored of all this free time I have and I aven't yet been able to successfully hibernate. 


Anyway since I spoke to u last I have been v busy. On Wednesday (the 30th) I went to a party round Alex's to celebrate the end of exams. I had a gd time but a lot of people seemed a bit depressed. We met a nice new guy called josh and we got told off by some neighbours. I got back home quite late (around 2) but my parents didn't seem to mind. 


Thursday I just relaxed and Friday I went to the beach!!!!!!!!!!! I had a great time though I got a bit burnt. It was surprisingly sunny even though it was supposed to rain. We had a gd time at Bournemouth beach until we were attacked by a massive pack of seagulls all because of a few chips. We also buried Stephen in the sand. On the way back to the train station we nearly missed the train. Actually two of us (Emily and Laura) did. I only just got on but I felt the door closing against my shoulder. A second later and I wouldn't of got on. But they were able to get a train not soon after. Overall the day at the beach was brilliant. 


I've spent this wkend doing absolutely nothing. I played the new doctor who game called the blood of the cybermen which was quite gd. Also i spent a bit of today talking to tom over Skype. His 10 hr flight went fine though it was delayed by 3 hrs. He's ok just v tired. He starts uni 2morrow so that he can get up to the standard that everyone else is at. I'll speak to him again in a few days time :) 


2morrow I'll just spend relaxing and being a leader at cubs

E3

E3!!!!!!!!!!!
I really shouldn't ave been as obsessed as I was about e3. It was on during a wk when I had 4 exams so i should of just revised (which I mainly did) and most of the games shown I won't play as I'm not taking my playstation to uni so there is no point in buying any new games. Although I tried to resist E3 news i couldn't help it and ended up watching all the press conferences.

For those of u who r confused as to what E3 is I'll explain. It's a gaming convention where Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo show off what's coming over the autumn and next year to their console.

Microsoft's conference was ok. Showed some nice demos at the start but then they rambled on about kinect for a hour. Kinect  is a camera that allows u to be the controller. Basically eye-toy but better. then they showed off a new console and that was that. I would give it a C+.

Sony showed some 3d stuff and move (their motion controller) , both of which r silly. Infamous 2 had an awesome trailer which shows the beast :).Kevin Butler (who I love came on stage) and Gabe Newell who originally hated the ps3 admitted he was wrong and then showed portal 2!!!!!!!!!!! Portal is one of the best games u can get for the pc. I urge u to get it. Just download steam(which is free) and then buy portal for £15. Sony also showed a paid version of their online thing and twisted metal. I would give it a B

Finally Nintendo who stole the show. The 3ds is amazing and u don't need glasses. it also has better graphics than a psp (I think) just look at these screen shots showing the difference between the ds and 3ds:



Also there will be a ton of games for it. Anyway i would give it an A.

I'm back

Sorry for my nearly two month long absence but I'm back and with a new template as blooger updated their design features. I know ur shocked that I'm back and so i am. 

So life. where shall I start? Well my exams r all over :). I think all 7 of them went fine. Both general studies were just silly (seriously sporting spirit (hits head on table)) The exam I was most nervous for was history as I was scared that the moment I went in to the sports hall I would forget all the dates. Luckily I didn't. Hopefully I did fine but we'll find out in August and I'll hopefully be off to Cardiff.

Remember that penguin. Well his name was (drum roll...........) IAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm now on a 3 month holiday. Hopefully it'll involve a lot of socialising. Or I may just go into hibernation once I work out how. 

Tom has now gone :(. Well he is still in England but he's spending the next few days with his relatives. We said farewell to each other on Sunday. He's going to try and skype me next Sunday from Canada so I can ave a tour of his flat. He had a gd birthday. I gave him the dvd thing (which is now on fb), a box full of goodies that u can only buy in England (party rings, polos, tea ect.) and some money. I'll miss him but I'll go over there next summer to say hello. Until then the only way I'll see him will be via my computer doing video chat.   

I'm now going to get back to chilling.

Election day

Hi. It's election result day and the result is a hung parliament :(. So what happens now, well there are 3 options:

-The conservatives can try and govern with a minority government but it'll be difficult to pass some laws especially on immigration.

-We could have a majority coalition government.

-A re-election.

Most likely it seems we will now have a majority coalition government with Conservatives and Libs. Both leaders said they would consider it now we just have to wait and see if they can come to an agreement.

I voted for the Lib dem MP which in my constituency was Sandra Gildley who lost by 4,000 votes. I'm v disappointed. Also Winchester is conservative though they were considered a lib save seat. Eastleigh is still Lib dem so win for them

I'm really disappointed by how the libs performed. It seemed this election was going to be really gd for them but instead they have actually made a net loss from the last election so they have actually lost popularity. What's also annoying is most people round college voted lib.

There is a poll on facebook about what we want now that its a hung parliament. Options are lab+lib coalition, Conservatives+Lib coalition or a another election. I voted for the controversial conservative and lib coalition. Lab+Lib coalition won't work as it still won't be a majority so it'll really be Lab+Lib+other. another general election will probably be a conservative majority as everyone will try and avoid a hung parliament. so my vote makes sense. go process of elimination.

In other none political news, my life is fine other than i had a maths mock this morning that was v difficult but i did spend the rest of the day doing no work and once again trying to sort out people's problems. I spent a lot of Saturday with tom as i went to the cuckoo fair with Katie and tecky. It was a lot of fun. Katie won a green toy monkey (we called it pickles), got her face painted as a tiger and went down a helter skelter with Becky. I brought candy floss :) and a big bubble maker. Driving there and back went fine other than one v sharp turning i had to make as i nearly missed a turning. That night i went to Jamie's party. It was a lot of fun. we played a weird version of pool where you use your fingers and pucks, twister which used countries on a world map for the colours and uno flash. Uno flash is silly as it took us ages to finish one game. Then i spent the night round tom's.

Been a while since i've blogged but i aven't felt like it. I have to be in a certain mood to blog.

So i had a haircut and now my hair is back in control but still bouncy like a trampoline.

Today's lunch was quite eventful. Seemed like everyone was breaking down and i was there trying to sort out all their problems. It's fun. People come to me as I'm apparently a good listener and cause i love life . I was talking to someone and they didn't understand y i love life so much. Without life i wold be nothing (as i would be dead). I'm not sure y i love life. It would make sense if someone had a perfect life as then they should love life but my life ain't perfect nor has it ever been as there are many things i want to change. Well as i don't know y i love life I'm ending this point.

3 day wkend :). I'm spending 2morrow going to a cuckoo fair (no i don't know what it is either). It's apparently a field with loads of stalls and carnival games and fudge. I going there with katie and Tecky. it was tom's idea. I'm transport as there is no other way of getting there. it should be gd. Then in the evening i'll be going to Jamie Keyter's party. He's going to be 17. Then i'll be spending both Sunday and Monday revising. Look I've got my first exam in 5 wks and 2 mocks next wk. DON'T JUDGE ME. I seem to be saying that a lot.

Back to college + something else as i've already used this title

I'm back to college and easter is all over :(. I've now eaten all my eggs :).

So since saturday(when i last posted) I've done a lot. On monday i went barn dancing in Eastleigh which was a lot of fun though it involved clapping, jumping and some v confusing spiral. On Wednesday i met up with tom again. This time i went round his. I saw the film jumper round my house. It was ok i suppose. I expected more cause everyone seemed to love it. I also gained 6 pounds in a few hours (tom's scales which are probably wrong said i was 10. 3 but my scales at home said 10. 9) Thursday i went to see my Granddad in Wells. How do i describe him: well he's bald but he has a comb over because he doesn't want to admit he's bald, he's in a wheelchair and he blinks a lot (i mean a lot). Then on Thursday night i saw kick ass with a load of people. Basically see kick ass, it's kick ass. It really is amazing and u'll all love it. Go see it. NOW. Also i had some mental breakdown because my car brokedown. I ran the battery flat (apparently heaters without the engine on use a lot of power). I clearly wasn't thinking straight and should have put on the engine. So i called my parents who called the RAC who jump started my car.

So now I'm back to college and everything has gone back to the way it was before except the weather is nice and st. cross road is finally reopen. Also college was in today's meridian tonight saying how 250 of our pupils were stranded in other countries due to iceland and its volcano. One of them is Zoe which make my friend Bass v upset (they're going out). I hear there is also a physics teacher away. Basically our school is suffering. But i was watching it as i expected to see a story featuring katie o and how see won't get to fly on her trip to Switzerland on Thursday which never came up. Anyway apparently the volcano is getting better but it may get worse. No one knows and some a level exams start soon.

I'll be getting a haircut 2morrow. It's getting a bit out of control.

Easter time= awesome time

Sorry about my lack of posting. It's been over two weeks and the last post wasn't a gd one. Excuse, well i don't have one. I just needed a break.

Life is fine, maybe great. It's Easter meaning chocolate and more chocolate. I got 2 eggs and a Lindt bunny :). Somehow i still have one egg left. So far I've seen tom and done some gardening. next wk I've got barn dance and I'm seeing my granddad. Also I've been doing revision :O. Sorry but exams are coming up. Less then 9 weeks till my first one on the 9/6. I not looking forward to exams (well who does). I have a week with 4 exams. Also during the exam period tom will leave though i really don't want him to :(.

It's annoying how it's lovely outside but I'm stuck indoors doing work and probably when i go back to college it'll rain again.

So Doctor Who. Well I think Matt Smith is awesome and so far the past two episodes have been quite gd. I really like today's one as it kept u guessing. I just find it weird that they have changed everything. They have a new doctor, new companion, new writer, new tardis, new sonic screwdriver, new logo and a new intro. Not that this is bad, except the intro, but did it all need changing. Anyway this episode was awesome as it had the demon headmaster in it.

I went to Katie confirmation/baptism on Sunday. First time I've ever seen a baptism where the person could answer for themselves. It was v interesting and i enjoyed it. Made me remember how awesome church is. Maybe I should go more. My gran would like that.

Anyway that be all that i have to say. Hope u all have a gd 2nd wk off. Also if ur bored like I seem to be all the time then u can watch this vid of me being a hero.

Thorpe Park stuff

I finally like Merlin Entertainments. It's taken 3 yrs but finally i see that they r gd for the Thorpe Park. For those of u who don't know Merlin entertainments took over Tussauds in 2007. Tussauds owned Thorpe park, Alton Towers, Chessington, the London dungeons and of course Madame Tussauds. Most of u probably haven't noticed that Thorpe Park has changed since it was overtaken by Merlin but I have. They are v different to Tussauds. Firstly, they care much more about scenery. Thorpe was always going to have a new coaster in 2009 but under Tussauds it was going to be a flying coaster that went close to the water. A bit like Manta at Sea World just smaller (I loved this idea hence i was upset it never happened). When Merlin took over they decided to go for a cheaper coaster that would have tons of scenery and hence we got saw. But saw was surprisingly amazing. Also Saw alive i hear has a ton of scenery and so does thirteen at Alton Towers. Though it does seem that they are trying to make Britain into the scariest place in the world. We have Saw, Saw alive and 13 all designed to scare u. Secondly, their upkeep of the park seems to be better. they have done quite a few paint jobs over the winter periods. Thirdly (the bad part), their map are awful. I think I ranted to Alex once about how much I hated their maps. Most of the rides are in the wrong place. The layout of the rides and sometimes the colour is wrong. Logger's Leap is going in the complete wrong direction. It's disgraceful. However, I do like their 2010 map. The layout is still wrong but it's funny to look at. So now that they have fixed their maps, kind of, i now have nothing against Merlin. (u can view all of Thorpe Park's old maps here which dates all the way back to 1981)

Anyway, I've replied to my uni offers. Cardiff is my firm. Greenwich is insurance. Hadley a surprise.

This week has been quite a boring one though Thursday was Jared's birthday. For reasons i don't understand, me and Jared have become v gd friends recently. He enjoyed most of his day but I think by the end he was a bit depressed.

This weekend i will spend finishing off my physics coursework which is in for Tuesday. After that I'm done with all A2 coursework :).

Derren Brown is one scary guy

Hello

So Derren Brown was awesome. I'm not going to talk about it too much as i don't want to spoil it for u lot. This is because, although he is no longer performing at the Mayflower he is in other places. Also he normally does the same show two yrs in a row. So i won't spoil the big finally because, like always, it was epic and it had me in hysterics. But i can say he put me and Katie into a trance making me stand up. It felt weird and v relaxing when i came back into the real world. Katie was apparently more into the trance than me. I'm glad i wasn't fully into the trance as the two people who where most in the trace were put on stage. One drank vinegar and the other was suspended over two chairs. Katie also went up for a trick after getting the Frisbee. It was a game of guess who. There were pics of people in the stalls. Katie had to choose someone. She then put her hand on his shoulder. Derren would ask her questions to eliminate some people but she would only think her answers and not say them out loud. I'm still astounded by his trick involving the box covered by wool in a glass in a box in a box. His also made some spirits visit the Mayflower (like always). Basically if u get a change to see this show then go ahead.

When i got up on thursday morning i felt so relaxed and calm even though i had only had around 6 hrs sleep. It was the same sort of feeling i got when i got out of the trance just not as intense. So Derren Brown was messing with my body even after the show was over so I'm quite scared.

So skins series 4 is over and it was awful. The final episode was one of the worst yet. It resolved hardly any of the stories and I still have no idea why the phycologist killed Freedie. The stories that were resolved were done v quickly like emily suddenly forgiving Naomi and Pandora forgiving Thomas. This series was awful but it had a few good eps. I enjoyed the one focused on JJ and the one focused around Katie. The show somehow made me like Katie even though I hated her in series 3. I have one big problem with skins that i really noticed in Freedie's ep. His was riding around on a bike but last time i checked he was an awesome skateboarder who could do some amazing tricks. Or was that just to make the first ep of series 3 seem current. This also came up in JJ's ep. He's a magician (nothing new there) who plays the uke (since when). And since when could Thomas run that fast. oh right he couldn't run fast but now he can just so it looks like he is actually going to do something with his life. What i also didn't understand is how most of them did well in their exams though they never go to college. Sure Effy's results were faked but the others weren't. This series was so bad. Well weather u like it or not there will be a series 5 but with none of the cast returning. But I've had enough of skins and if I wanted to watch a load of teenagers addicted to sex and drugs then i would watch Misfits which was awesome.

Thursday lunchtime was weird so lets pretend it never happen.

I forgot to talk about the F1 in my last post. Maybe because it was boring and the new rules make overtaking basically non existent. Still Lewis came 3rd but that was due to Vettel (who should have won) having some problem in the exhaust. So i was disappointed but the first race of the season and I'm not the only one.

I'm a celebrity

It's true. I'm famous as I'm on google street view :). Sure my face has been blurred but u can still tell it's me. So I think on Thursday Google uploaded street view of all of England. I learnt from tom that i appeared in street view waiting for the bus with bass. This must of happened about last February. I was waiting for the no. 5 bus from the train station as I was going to Bass' place. Not sure how I didn't notice a big van taking pictures of me. So here is me on google street view.

Anyway on Saturday I went to Sussex uni to look round the engineering department. It was up to the standard of Cardiff's facilities. Also for the first time ever i saw someone I knew. By knew i mean a boy in my physics class who I have probably spoken to like once which meant during the day we spoke like twice. Anyway it's a nice place and it v near Brighton which has Brighton pier which looks amazing due to all the rides.

Today was mother's day. I didn't get her much as she didn't want chocolate and she didn't want any music. She never wants anything so I was extra nice to her instead.

One year :)

It started of with a post called it starts. Since then I've been doing posts about my weird and fairly uneventful life. Somehow u people find it interesting. I'm glad I started this blog as I get all happy inside the moment I find out a friend of mine reads this. It makes me feel special especially when it's someone i hardly know. So thanks to everyone who reads this. Life has been a bit depressing over the last few wks but I'm fine now. I'm happy with where my life is going. I have three groups of friends and all are amazing. I spend most of my life in the UPW group. We have a laugh and we have the sun. Sure we probably belong in varley but we want to keep r street cred, no matter how low it already is.

This current background on this blog is quite me. The guy on the laptop could looks like me and he looks childish like me. Also my fave colours are green and brown.

So results. One surprising + one bad but I expected it + one disappointing. Makes me all v neutral. I managed to still get a b in maths (by a mark) even though I found the paper hard :). Physics I failed but I've handed in my resit form and I'll do better in the summer.

So life. I was watching skins. I was like WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I think I may soon do another guess a person thing. I may include a prize but I can't be bothered right now.

So a year ago I started this blog but when and how will it end? No one knows but it's not ending any time soon.

Hello there.

Barn dancing on Saturday was amazing like always. Sadly this may be the last barn dance for quite some time. This is because Twyford normally has a barn dancing night once a month but Katy H, who is the main organizer in making all of our group go, is away so we probably won't end up going. Also Twyford has no barn dancing after the April one till September. Sure we may make this one but it's ages away and there will be no tom :'( (cries inside).

Anyway, I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow due to results and things. I think the physics re-sit went well and the maths paper was ok but i really struggled with the second physics paper. I may need some hugs.

On Friday i would of had this blog for a whole year :O

Saturday I'm off to Sussex for my final uni visit day. So after Saturday i can finally reply to my offers.

DofE Certificate

I just got back from a presentation evening where i was awarded with my silver duke of edinburgh award. I think i may have embarrassed myself throughout the evening but i don't care. Me and 2 others helped out with the presentation. Our leader said we were just going to hand out the certificates when each of them came up to collect their award. We soon relished we were actually the announcers meaning we had to talk :O. We had to read out everyone's names and a bit about their experience of doing DofE. I was quite nervous when i found out we had been given this job but it didn't go that bad. Sure some bits I said wrong but this was the first time I had read any of this stuff. Also some people have some really annoying surnames. The person next to me made more mistakes but they weren't his fault. One of the experience bits said the person was a he when it was a she. silly typo. Anyway i got a gift for all my effort. A box of Cadbury's Milk tray and of course my certificate :) . It was a fun evening.

I completed the task

Today I tried to get to get my life in order. I finally completed the task that I've been trying to do for a few months but the outcome was one I didn't expect. It took a lot of confidence for me to complete this task. Me completing this task should have changed everything and my life would have be amazing. Sadly it didn't go that way. Hence right now I'm feeling neutral. Happy because I completed the task but sad as it didn't end the way I intended it to. I know this makes no sense but I like being cryptic.

I'm standing by the rules that I always stand by whenever I do a post on here. I will never lie but I can always hide. There is a lot of hiding in this post.

I'm feeling slightly better this week though i've been having depressive periods. On Wednesday, Jared as my witness, I had a massive mood swing at the end of lunch. I randomly got depressed for no reason. Soon I'll get my life in order.

Anyway back to life, I'm not looking forward to Thursday next wk as I don't think i did well in January. Also the buses will be packed as everyone, all of AS and A2, ave tutor in the morning.

Nothing interesting has been going on recently. I have barn dancing on Saturday which should be a gd laugh.

I really have nothing thing left to say. I'll soon fix my mood. sorry about this being so short. I've nearly had this blog for a year :)

I'm a bit depressed

I haven't blogged in a while. a whole week. Sorry about that I haven't been in the mood. I've been a bit depressed.

Anyway what has gone on in my life. On Friday (the one in half term). I went to Greenwich uni which is in Kent not Greenwich. I was like WTF. I went with really low expectations hence I was easily impressed. Sure it's nothing compared to Cardiff but that's y it's my back up. They had the same engineering equipment but Cardiff had more of each item. The uni seemed really posh which I loved. Basically I felt great after Friday as it meant if the summer exams went badly then it wouldn't be that bad as I would be happy to go to this uni.

Talking about Cardiff uni. It's sexist!!!!!!! It only let's the female sex have fully catered rooms. Us men have to have part or self catered and not the full deal. I think this is silly. Although I don't want fully catered, some boys may. I have a cervix like these girls but I can't be fully catered at this uni. I want to ask their reasoning for being so clearly sexist.

On a random note y is it that when I go to a shop in uni it's v cheap but when I go to a shop in college it's really expensive? Because college is silly. Creme egg costing 60p :(

Anyway this first week back has been average. Nothing big happened. No change. I was a bit depressed on Wednesday and the only person who seemed to care was Sarah. I think it's due to the fact that as I'm normally really happy it's a shock when I'm not hence people choose to not accept it and therefore ignore me. She was the only one who noticed I wasn't happy hence she gave me a hug which made me slightly happier.

Skins has gotten so bad lately. The characters are weird and do stupid stupid things. It's worse then series 3 though the overriding story arc is better then the one we had last rime about effy being fancied by 3 boys who are best friends who then fight/run to see who should get her. This girl who commuted suicide whilst on drugs which naomi sold to her was kind of interesting. Hopefully next episode will be better as it's all about jj who is awesome.
