I'm a bit depressed

I haven't blogged in a while. a whole week. Sorry about that I haven't been in the mood. I've been a bit depressed.

Anyway what has gone on in my life. On Friday (the one in half term). I went to Greenwich uni which is in Kent not Greenwich. I was like WTF. I went with really low expectations hence I was easily impressed. Sure it's nothing compared to Cardiff but that's y it's my back up. They had the same engineering equipment but Cardiff had more of each item. The uni seemed really posh which I loved. Basically I felt great after Friday as it meant if the summer exams went badly then it wouldn't be that bad as I would be happy to go to this uni.

Talking about Cardiff uni. It's sexist!!!!!!! It only let's the female sex have fully catered rooms. Us men have to have part or self catered and not the full deal. I think this is silly. Although I don't want fully catered, some boys may. I have a cervix like these girls but I can't be fully catered at this uni. I want to ask their reasoning for being so clearly sexist.

On a random note y is it that when I go to a shop in uni it's v cheap but when I go to a shop in college it's really expensive? Because college is silly. Creme egg costing 60p :(

Anyway this first week back has been average. Nothing big happened. No change. I was a bit depressed on Wednesday and the only person who seemed to care was Sarah. I think it's due to the fact that as I'm normally really happy it's a shock when I'm not hence people choose to not accept it and therefore ignore me. She was the only one who noticed I wasn't happy hence she gave me a hug which made me slightly happier.

Skins has gotten so bad lately. The characters are weird and do stupid stupid things. It's worse then series 3 though the overriding story arc is better then the one we had last rime about effy being fancied by 3 boys who are best friends who then fight/run to see who should get her. This girl who commuted suicide whilst on drugs which naomi sold to her was kind of interesting. Hopefully next episode will be better as it's all about jj who is awesome.

Hello there.

My half term has been quite amazing.

On Monday I went all the way up to Swansea as it was my second and final pass plus session. We also went down some one-lane country roads where we ended up getting a bit lost. This resulted in me doing a turn in the road in a one-lane country road which wasn't nice.

On Tuesday I went up to Swansea with my mother as on Wednesday I had a uni visit day. Like I said in my last post I won't end up going there. To be honest it was quite a nice uni with a massive library. But as i still prefer Cardiff and Sussex to Swansea, which are all offering me 3 Bs, I won't be going there. It was quite a boring day.

On thursday i went to the zoo :). This was absolutely amazing as we spent the whole day being incredibly silly. So I drove Katie O and Tecky up to Marwell which wasn't that hard to find thanks to Katie knowing exactly how to get there. Tickets weren't too much as we got a 10% discount as Katie had a season ticket. So we spent many hours at the zoo seeing all the animals and messing about. The animals were all so cute. We all brought animal masks and wore them for most of the day. We got some weird looks. Also we bullied Becky quite a lot. It was her own fault as she fell over and got her self all muddy, was terrified of some birds and snorted loads whilst laughing. Apparently watching Mulan 2 caused her to snort now every time she laughs. I didn't even know there was a Mulan 2. We also couldn't stop singing twist and shout by the beetles for no reason.

Today I went round to Tom's. I finally got to see his flat which was tiny. I had a gd time round his house though there wasn't much to do there.

Tomorrow I'm off to Greenwich Uni. We'll be setting off at 7.45 so I'm gonna have to get up early :(.

Then on Sunday we are celebrating my Dad's 60th (his birthday is on Monday but he is working in London on that day). So we'll be having a nice meal.

Half term :)

It's half term!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means I can relax.

Sadly I can't relax as my wk is quite busy.

But first, yesterday I went to see Ragnorok at the Tower. Bass (pronounced like the fish) is the Bass (pronounced like the instrument) player in this band and I'm gd friends with him so I thought I would go and support him. Sadly I didn't end up seeing him :(. One of the band's members of the band that was supposed to go on before Ragnorok was a bit sick. Hence they had to rework the playlist. Ths meant Ragnorok was playing at 9 instead of at 9.35. I got there for just after 9.35 (bus was late) so I missed them :(. It was quite a pointless trip though me and Bass had a gd talk and he appreciated me coming.

Heroes volume five is now over for me and America. the finale was actually impressive unlike the episodes before it. I won't tell u what happens but it ends well. Also volume six looks v interesting but it could turn out to be another version of volume 4 which wouldn't be gd. Sadly Volume six may not happen as NBC haven't yet confirmed that they're keeping the show.

Tuesday I'm off to Swansea as Wednesday I have a uni visit day. Although I will definitely not be going there and they have already given me an offer. We're going anyway just for fun.

Thursday I'm off to Marwell. I may have put myself up for transport and as I have no confidence I'm getting a bit nervous. But I really want to do this and I know I can drive.

Friday is free. Saturday I'm off to Greenwich Uni. Unlike Swansea this does mater as this will probably end up being my insurance choice.

Then Sunday is another free day

So my half term isn't peaceful at all.

AVATAR looks awesome

I've got a new blog layout. Again this won't stay. I'm trying some websites where I get to make my own layout. However, it's harder than I thought it would be and I don't have the time or the effort. Hence I'll do it over half term. So in the mean time my blog design is this. I hope u can put up with it.

It snowed today :)

On Saturday, I went all the way up to Worthing and through Arundel all to just turn around at a roundabout and go back home. I only stopped once at a Little Chef to have some food and to have a rest. Y did I do this? Caused I was bored. And cause I was doing my Pass Plus which means I was taught how to use a motor-way for 3 hrs. I was so tired afterwards. I've got another 3 hr session on Monday then I'll be done. I should get 25% of my insurance and it only cost me £75.

That night I went Barn dancing in Twyford. It was a brilliant night even though I felt v dizzy and lightheaded afterwards. I also took some videos:

On Sunday I finally got to see Avatar and see what all the fuss was about. I went with Jacob and Hannah. We got on well and talked loooooooooooooooads (we nearly missed the start of the adverts :O ). So the film was amazing. Sure the story is Pocahontus/the history of Native Americans(hence the blue creatures being called the Na'vi)/the Iraq war in space but it was still interesting. I cared for most of the characters and the whole wildlife being linked was weird. Of course u mainly saw it for the CGI and damn it looked awesome. Even if I hadn't had see it in 3-d it would of still looked amazing. The Na'vi, the crazy blue flying things, all the plant life and Pandora look completely real . It was amazing. And then there was the fact that the whole film was in amazing 3-d. This made scenes like a big tree falling down amazing as you could see all the ash really clearly. Also it helped when I was reading the subtitles and with the computer holograms. The fight scene at the end is brilliant and defiantly worth the wait. Basically go and see it as the CGI is outstanding.

As I'm in the reviewing mood I thought I would review a game called 'the sims 3'. The first Sims came out 10 yrs ago and now we have the third installment. I have v mixed opinions on the game. It started off brilliant. The game has one loading screen and that's short. There is a lot more freedom such as u can make them go to work but slag off when they are there. Also u get rewarded more for doing there wants. It's easy to understand. I was completely addicted to it then something happen that made me dislike the game and I haven't played it since. I first created the Hill family but I couldn't be bothered to do anything with them. So I made another Sim. I would get him into his dream job and find him a mate. It was all going fine. He was being promoted often and he had found a girl and I was soon going to ask her to move in. I decided to leave and go to a different family as I was getting a bit bored. So I went to the classic Goth family. Here I discovered that one of the Goths was going out with my sister and that I was v close to one of the other goths. Out of my anger of him going out with my sister, and me not letting him, I decided to kill him. This was a lot harder than i expected. the swimming pool was useless as they no longer need ladders to get out. So I made him cook and made him do something else so it would burn and start a fire. But the sim was too clever and stopped listening to me and didn't burn the food. Eventually I just trapped him in a room hoping he would die of hunger. I then went back to my original sim only to find out the girl he was about to ask to move in with had turned old. This meant they could have sex but not start a family which I wanted him to do. Hence, I got v annoyed and I haven't played it since.

Now for another review this time a bit more current. Haiti suffered a massive crisis and don't have any money to afford aid. Hence countries from around the world are stepping in. Simon Cowell and The Sun decided to cover the classic REM single 'Everybody Hurts'. It's all for a gd cause but I don't like the single. In my opinion it sounds a mess. There are a huge no. of singers in this. there's Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Kylie, Rod Stewart, Alexandra Burke, Miley Cyrus, Take That, Joe McElderry, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Mika, Michael Buble, James Blunt and Morrison, Susan Boyle and Westlife. luckily there is no rapping unlike the 2nd band aid. If u haven't heard this single yet then here is the official vid:

Liverpool University (again)

Sorry about my lag of blogness I've been busy.

I was at cubs on Monday and we asked them to make sock puppets and then put them in a story to do with scouting. If I remember correctly we got some weird story-lines.

One story was about some scouts hiking (as we do) but then they get attacked by an alien and a dragon. Scouts are of course terrified and they are about to be eaten but then a scout leader comes along and saves the day.

Another involved an evil rooster who was killing a load of kids. A scout leader comes to defeat this evil rooster but then ends up making a deal for himself to kill the kids but in return he gets £3 billion. So he kills all the kids and becomes v rich. But then a pokemon (i forget which one(by this point I had completely tuned out)) heals all the children and everyone is happy.

The final one was on a normal pack night. the leaders leave for a few mins and at this point the cubs have lots of fun and go crazy. Leaders come back and are angry at the cubs for messy about whilst they were away. Then suddenly a ghost comes and scares the leaders away and then the cubs mess around once more and no one stops them.

Basically if u become a Scout leader u will lead a very eventful life and be able to defeat aliens but u'll be terrified of ghosts (suppose u can't get everything).

On Wednesday I went up north to Liverpool. This was because on Thursday I was going to have a university visit day. The journey upwards took 4 and a half hrs :(. Plus Liverpool had snow!!!!!! So Thursday I had a look round the uni and got some presentations shown to me that I had seen when they had their open day back in september. To be honest the only thing that I had not already had was my interview. This interview, like my last one, was v informal. Just asking y i was applying for this course and to check that I wasn't a freak. I much preferred this interviewer to my Cardiff one as this one had actually read my personal statement and brought it up in conversation. He said he would recommend the uni to give me an offer :). I still haven't heard anything yet but Cardiff took a while. Sadly the offer will probably be for 3 Bs which is the same as Cardiff and I prefer Cardiff. So if they do offer me 3 Bs then my top choice will be Cardiff and my insurance will be Greenwich for 3 Cs.

2morrow is Colin's birthday hence I would love it if GEORGE FRANK OWEN BARK sent him a birthday message and everyone else. his no. is ?????????.

I've got a fairly eventful wkend coming up. 2morrow I have Barn dancing and half of my pass plus which will take a whole 3 hrs. Then on Sunday I'm trying to see Avatar. Somewhere in between I have to start on a 1000 word essay for history :(.
