New Year's Eve

2010 2morrow :). I can't wait. I aven't been doing that much these hols. Just revising. First exam in 13 days and I'm no where near ready. It's Andrew's birthday today and my mum's 2morrow. Tonight should be gd.

My computer is still dead so I'm gonna have to reinstall windows and loose everything.

Last night I went to town with emily, James, Jacob and Ollie. We were going to go see avatar but as it's one of the biggest films of this year it had been all sold out. Instead we saw Paranormal Activity. Damn it's one scary film. Most of the film is v eerie. I only really got scared in the last 20 mins. The ending had me jump like crazy. Jacob was the most scared of all of us as he covered his eyes with his hands for most of the film. I really want to see the odeon vid of the audience that they do on that screen. I would have loved to se how much we all jumped near the end. Great film. I recommend seeing it at the cinema to get yourself truly scared and with a load of easily petrified people for comical value. Consequently I didn't have the best of sleeps but I'm fine now.

It's Christmas Time

It's christmas. This is my vlog about all things Christmassy.

life is gd :)

life is actually very gd at this current moment in time. There is still snow around though most of it has gone. it's 3 days till Christmas. And today was awesome

So what made today awesome? how about I GOT AN OFFER FROM CARDIFF :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):). That makes me so :). Sure it's for 3 Bs but as Sussex already had asked for the same I was already in the mindset that i need 3 Bs to have the life I dream of. I've got to work hard :(.

I was going to start revising today but instead i spent it wrapping pressies and do a winter clean in my room. my mum asked me to clear the floor of all the birthday stuff (yes all ur things were littering my floor). Once I started cleaning i really couldn't stop.

Another thing that made today awesome was I got a new camera. it's a Panasonic TZ7. Now u may go 'hey didn't u quite recently get a new camera'. And yes I got a new camera for my 17Th birthday but it broke as it turned on in my pocket and all the gearing in the lens got destroyed. At this point u may also go 'But didn't u also break this camera in Feb when it was snow day'. Again yes I broke it on snow day for the same reason. Had nothing to do with the snow or cold as it survived Hockenhorn mountain just. I'm rubbish with technology. My new laptop has already shown the blue screen of death though it seems fine. So yeah i got my camera fixed then broke it again. Then i was a bit depressed on Tuesday so i decided to buy a new camera with my birthday money. I've always wanted a Panasonic lumix and now I have one :).

So unknown to all of u I've been without a working compact camera for over a week and it was slowly killing me inside. But now I've got 3 cameras (my compact, my DSLR and my black and white camera) and they all work :).

So that's why I'm happy.

Sadly last night I didn't go barn dancing due to the snow as Katie's parents were too scared of driving in it. But it was turning into ice so it makes sense.

So that be it. The shortest day has been and gone so now will see more of that sun once the clouds go

Christmas hols have started :)

5 days till Christmas :)

Rage is Christmas No. 1 which makes me ever so happy. Sure i brought neither (I never do) but i wanted Rage to win. Joe although is a gd singer he came from a show called X factor which everyone hates (though I do watch it as it's fairly gd TV and there is nothing else is on). But yes it is a karaoke show and not much different from stars in their eyes but they don't have the crazy costumes.

on Friday was Emily's birthday. She was a whole 18 years old. we had a meal at a Mediterranean restaurant in Eastleigh called Guzel Bistro. I had some seabass. It was a nice restaurant but completely deserted. after that we went to the vue to see Where the wild things are. It was quite a depressing film. It involved a boy with a ton of issues having no friends and running away from home. He found some weird creatures and became their king, then they all started to hate him so he left them with their land destroyed and went home to where he was still a loner with issues. pointless or what?? gd film though. dragged on a bit though and i would of liked a happier ending. Animation on these creatures was amazing.

I've got barn dancing 2morrow :)

Plus for the first time ever I've been invited to a new years party :) Actually that's wrong i went round the gatherers to celebrate the millennium. That was an awesome party. we did our on show based on Starlight Express. Also loads of balloons came from the ceiling when it turned 2000.

On Friday we also had snow. Like I said on Wednesday we had some snow at lunch but on Friday we had proper settled snow :). And then it snow really heavily at 9ish. I love the snow.

That's about it. I still hoping for a white Christmas.

8 days till christmas :)

90th post

I'm happy. I blame the snow always boosts my mood. yesterday we were treated with a lot of snow at lunch at college. Sadly it didn't settle but still snow 9 days before christmas :).

I got another offer. This one I'm really annoyed about. It's from Swansea. This was going to be my backup as their prospectus offer was BCC. Sounds nice. But my conditional offer is for BBB. Makes no sense. So now I'm definitely not going there as Sussex is asking for the same and i loved that uni. So i've got 3/5 offers. Liverpool will tell me after the interview I have in Feb. So it's just Cardiff I'm currently waiting for. Come on Cardiff. Going back to Swansea they have asked me to go on a visit day and I'm wondering weather I'll go considering I don't want to be going there. what would be the point.

Anyway I have Sims 3 and it's damn confusing. I haven't played it much but three small things have impressed me quite a lot:

1. you can change the pitch of ur sims voices
2. you can rotate furniture to 45 degree angles (ZOMG)
3. the men pee standing upwards even when the toilet isn't a urinal :O

Tonight I am going out for my scout christmas do thing. should be gd. we're going to Nandos. Also i may be getting a beer with the leaders.

Talking about beer. Someone will be able to buy that for the first time 2morrow. EMILY

Finally i found out that one of the classic christmas songs is wrong. the classic I wish it could be Christmas everyday. It says When the snowman brings the snow. But the snow brings the snowman. u can have snow without a snowman but u can't have a snowman without snow.

10 days till Santa comes to town

It's 10 days till Christmas which makes me so happy. I spent most of the weekend putting up my and my granny's Christmas tree. The Christmas spirit has touched everyone and everything. Both James and Andy were in Christmas moods. James was giving out chocolate to everyone he knew. I got a milka bar in the shape of Santa clause. Andy was wearing a Santa hat. Christmas has also changed the weather as today it snowed on me. I'm not kidding. Sure it didn't last that long and it won't settle but there was snow. So I'm now dreaming of a White Christmas. Just like the ones I've never had.

I spent today finishing my Christmas shopping though i forgot to get any cards. I'm forgetful. I also got Emily's present (I'm just putting this in just to annoy her as she really want to know what I got her)

I've figured out i use brackets loads in this blog. I just love brackets.

I still haven't heard anything about Cardiff which is kind of depressing now that I've seen it as I really want to go there. desperately. But now i look back on it the interview I had didn't go that well. I realized this today as I had a practice interview and it didn't go that well and he told me i need to make some improvements. the interview at Cardiff wasn't much different to what I had today and if I didn't do well today maybe i did badly a wk ago. I really have no idea. I really really really hope i get an offer. I just checked Ucas and I've got 2 offers woot. Sarcastic. Well Actually I'm happy with the first one as Greenwich is asking for 3 Cs/240 ucas points but I don't really want to go there (I'm predicted BBC). And Sussex is the depressing one. Initially I was happy about this as if I don't get into Cardiff I would love to go to Sussex but they are asking for BBB/ 300 ucas points. That's going to be some challenge to get. So I should feel happy that I got an offer but upset that the grades are too high considering in AS I got BBD and one of those B's was by one mark.

I've done something that only adults can (legally) do

It's saturday :)

Life has been gd recently mainly cause I'm done with coursework for quite some time. This wk I had to hand in some big pieces of coursework. two 2000 word essays for history and a write up of my practical experiment in physics. Both went fine. In physics I was able to find absolute zero to be -265 and the real figure is -273.15 so i was close. What annoys me is we have recently been learning about pressure in physics hence my teacher did this experiment. She, with her 3 results in 5 mins, found absolute zero to be -270. She was closer even though i took 24 results in 2 weeks :( But still now that i've done these pieces I feel i can relax.

But I can't cause in a month tomorrow I'll have my first exam(that's the 13th of Jan). It's a physics resit. Then on the 20th i ave maths C3. Then on the 28th i ave physics exam. so I'll soon start revising :(

I'm an adult and what do adults do. DRINK BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!! so that's exactly what i did. On Friday me, James, alex, steve and ollie went to the pub to celebrate James' birthday. We were all 18 except steve. Hence we had manly drinks whereas steve had coke. So i brought alcohol and i had to show my id :). Me and ollie had beer. Alex and James had cider. It was all gd fun and we mainly insulted steve for being so young.

So I've done something that only adults are allowed to do. Being an adult is fun.

Birthday + Bowling + family get together = An extremely busy but amazing weekend

I'm an adult. I haven't yet used any of my new rights (like buying alcohol) but i will soon. Tomorrow night i hit the town of Cardiff with my dad for a boy's night out. More on that further down.

My birthday was amazing. Only negative is that when i got up and i saw my pile of prezzies and i also saw a pile for my sister. I'm quite selfish especially when it's my day but i soon got over it. I received a laptop, watch, a photobook of my life so far and some clothes from my family. My gran gave me a monitor for my PC. I haven't yet used it but i will soon. The laptop is an Advent Roma 1000 with 3 gb of ram, a 2.2 GHz processor and 250 Gb of space. It's currently running windows vista. But soon it will be upgraded for free to win7. I currently loving the laptop. Also i got a hole bunch of monies. I one of those weird people who enjoy getting money more then spending it. I just love the feel of money. I hate to spend it.

In the evening of my birthday i went out with a load of friends and I think it went quite well. There were 12 of us there. We first had a meal at Frankie and Benney's in Eastleigh. gd meal except we didn't have time to have deserts though i was full anyway. After my parents taking £80 off the price it meant we only had to pay £5 each. We then went next door to AMF bowling. We took our two lanes and played two amazing games of bowling each. In between the two games we had a interval when i opened up all my prezzies. I'm still terrified by the thing tecky gave my. I was happy with everything that i got from my friends. I also got a copy of Ice Age 3. What i like is that it came with a digital copy for my ipod. I've put it on there and it's such gd quality and only takes up 1.5 gb. Best birthday party so far? Hell yeah.

Today i had all my relatives round to celebrate my 18Th and my sisters 21st. We had a nice meal and i was able to catch up with some people. I talked about unis for the whole day.

Talking about unis tomorrow night I'm off to Cardiff for a uni visit and a informal interview. Should be gd. I'm getting a bit nervous as I really want to go there.

Tomorrow I become an adult

That's right tomorrow i turn all old and stuff. I'll be able to buy alcohol, potentially change who's in power and go to nightclubs. Damn that's scary but I'm looking forward to it.

As i have only a few hours left of childhood i keep thinking about how amazing these 18 years have been. In history I've been assessing the turning points in China's history to see which one is the most significant. My life has been full of turning points and ups and downs but i easily know which turning point is the most significant. It happened in yr 10 when we were introduced to this other half of the year that had been non-existent for the past 3 yrs. In these 3 yrs i hanged out with the upper Fishpond courtyard crew. This consisted mainly of me, Alex, Luke, Sam, Andy and some others that I forget about. I never really enjoyed by time with this group and i knew i didn't fit in. I wanted to leave but i had no idea where to go. When I broke my leg in dec yr 10 my life hit a rock bottom. I had the worst Christmas of my life and school wasn't much fun as i had to stay upstairs and my friends had to visit me. Christmas was awful as i love gadgets and tech hence i normally get quite a lot for Christmas. Although i got a lot of tech i couldn't use it as i was stuck downstairs and most of it was for my computer. In this period i found out who my real friends were. The ones that visited me the most. The upper fishpond courtyard crew didn't see me often but the lower fishpond courtyard crew, which i had recently joined before I broke my leg, did. Hence, when my leg healed i soon joined this group permanently. I was much happier here and i had found a place where i fitted in. They were all hyper freaks like me and they were much nicer to me then the other group. I still in this group right now and I'm loving it. I've also have become one of the main members of this group. Therefore, the biggest turning point in my childhood was moving down two floors at the fishpond courtyard.

Sadly i haven't chanced that much since college. I'm more popular but not at all more confident. I still have never asked out a girl and that's mainly due to lack of self esteem and confidence. I don't party that often and even when i do i don't get out of my mind drunk. I just dance a lot. I never had a proper drunken new years cause the only person who has parties is Alex who is normally in Scotland for the new year. The same will probably happen this yr and I'll spent New years with my parents even though i really don't want to. I want to party.

5 days till I'm 18

On Saturday i went to Alex's house party. I enjoyed it. Not sure if he did fully. I was one of the fairly sober people there as i only had two ciders. This meant i could still party like crazy but when the situation arose i could become sober and help. This happened a few times with me and Kezia clearing up broken glass and spilt drink. I hear the lounge floor is still destroyed with spilt coke. I had a lot of fun with a guy called Ben as all we did was dance. He's amazing. I did my crazy back thing numerous times. Also at this party many things happen relationship wise:

Hannah and Blake kissed a lot

Ruth and James made out

John piakavitz and Hilary made out

I lucky kept my lips to my self as I'm clever.

I was at cubs just now and some boy there asked me for my facebook account as he wanted to add me. Now i think he was seriously to young to have or even know what facebook is. he's 10. That's scary. It's ok in yr 8 or 9 when everyone starts to get it but 10. It makes no sense. What's worse is another person there had already become addicted to farmville through his mum's account and he was 9!!!!!! I still haven't join this farmville thing as I'm too scared I'll get addicted but how much fun can a farm be. But these cubs are too young. This is Key stage 2 it shouldn't be allowed.

NEW MOON :O

So yesterday i went to see New Moon. Not the film instead i just looked up at the sky and saw a spot where the moon should have been. Oh I'm so witty except not. But i did really go and see the Twilight film NEW MOON and damn it's depressing. Like really depressing and the film drags on a bit in some of these scenes. Also u burst out in laughter in really serious scenes. And u can't take a film seriously when in the first 5 mins Edward walks out of no where in slow motion, wind in the hair and everything else. Also when Jacob for the first time takes of his shirt it's for no reason whatsoever just to keep us watching. Well the action sequences were awesome and I like some of the story. Also as i know what's already happened, cause i asked someone to tell me, I was able to see why those events will take place. All in all I'm happy i saw it but i spent most of the film laughing and i think i did the same with the first film. I have also changed which side I'm on: At the start I was so TEAM ED but him being damn evil made me side with Jacob so GO TEAM JACOB

In other news my physics project is working again as I've got a new temperature sensor :) I've only got tomorrow's double to finish it but I'm already done all the results I wanted to. I'll take a few more to get to a better conclusion.

Anyway in 10 days I'm 18

Talking about birthdays today was Alex's!!!!!!!! Kitty and Sarah brought in some cake and some really loud party poppers. Me, Sarah, Steve and Andy had a free before break and we decided to test one of these party poppers. It was so loud the whole of PW went quite hence we decided to move outside. Sadly lighting the candles on the cake didn't go that well as it was so windy. I think he had a gd day. He looked happy.

Finally, me and Colin where taking and then i thought about how much is name is like colon. Then me and James talked about cutting Colin in half to make him a semi-colon. Then we got on to what's best to be a colon or a semi-colon. I think a colon as they are used more often. Colin disagreed with me for what some reason. So what do u think is better??

I've found a place where the temperature is so cold friction doesn't exist. My physics Room :)

Hi

This week hasn't been that eventful but i may have broken my physics experiment. The temperature sensor attached to the ball on Friday was reading -273.1. Now considering that is nearly the same as absolute zero (-273.15) it means the physics room is v cold indeed. So next wk when i have to carry on with this experiment it may not go that well.

Moving on Channel 4 have been having a 3d week so i sat down on Monday with my glasses to watch some 3d tricks. Was i impressed?? NO mainly cause i still don't get the point of 3d sure it gave added depth but why is that useful. But yeah it was mostly used for depth and on that part it worked. Suppose for a first it worked well. I just don't see the point in 3d television. 3d games I get and movies I'm starting to get and i think i will more when i see Avatar.

Yesterday was Children in need and i loved the charity single. All those memorable childhood characters in one place. It was done well with most of the original voices. I have already watched it quite a few times.

Tonight I went to Alex's family get together for his birthday in 4 days. My family is considered to be family. Now as it was the Gatherers it was all v extravagant with fire and confetti and fireworks and a big cake and sparklers. It was a great night. the fireworks were impressive. The cake was nice with musical notes and everything. I still think it's nothing to Alex's Nimbus 2000 cake. That's the best cake his mum has ever made. This wk I'll be seeing Alex a lot. Tuesday as NEW MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thursday (maybe) as he's having a gig at the Railway and of course on Saturday for his proper party.

18 days till I'm 18

Hi

That's right. 18 days and that's not long at all.

let's talk about uni. So far I've got no offers but 4 out of 5 have said that they have received my application. I've heard nothing so far from Swansea but i don't really want to go there. I also been asked to go on some visits round Cardiff and Sussex (again but this time it's more focused on engineering) unis and the Cardiff one has some sort of interview. Cardiff is on Tuesday 8/12. Sussex is on Saturday 13/3.

Other stuff going on in my life are my practical physics experiment. For physics coursework i have to carry out my own experiment. I decided after some help from my teacher to measure the pressure of a gas ball in some water of a certain temperature and see how pressure varies when i make the water hotter or colder. The theory is that when the water is hotter the ball will have more pressure as the atoms will have more energy and hence they will move more. The graph of pressure against temperature should be a straight line through the origin. I started the experiment this week. I did nothing yesterday as the laptops failed to work but today i got some readings. I was in history being bored like always so i thought i would see if my results fitted my theory. The graph of my current results was a straight line and through the origin making me ever so happy.

Now it's time for WORD OF THE DAY: We'll start with Monday. Monday's word was BARK. I was wearing my brown hoodie (the one saying Rosstopher) and my brown coat so i was very brown. Katie H spotted this and Andrew said i look like poo, she says i look like chocolate and Tom says it made me look like a tree (WTF??). Then on the walk to the bus with Katie O we discussed that my mum is half dog and that I'm a quarter dog. We also got on to bark tasting horrible. Hence Monday was all about the word Bark. Trees have bark. Dogs go Bark. Bark doesn't taste nice.

Today's word is Tea. In physics I asked weather i could have some ice for tomorrow for my experiment. Lynne (my teacher) being slightly alcoholic suggested that it was for a Gin and Tonic. I already had a kettle hence it didn't take long for us to also think about tea to have whilst doing the experiment as physics is stressy. Also in history ( i have no idea how we got on to this) we were singing the teapot song. We couldn't remember all of it so we looked it up. If u can't remember ur childhood either it's:

The Truth Seeps Out

Sorry about yesterday's blog i wasn't in the best of moods. This is because i took my driving test yesterday and i failed. The annoying thing was it was a gd drive as i only got 10 minors (ur allowed up to 15 minors but most people get 10 or more) but it all went wrong when he asked me to parallel park. I kicked the tail out to much both times( For those of u who have done this maneuver kicking the tail out happens when u do full lock the other way too long after the 45 degree angel hence u oversteer and the back of ur car goes into the road which is dangerous for other drivers). It was annoying as when i was practicing earlier on with my driving instructor i did the maneuver perfectly.

The rain didn't help either producing the scariest moment i've ever had whilst driving. I was on a duel carriage-way(Millbrook Flyover if u know where that is). I was in the left hand lane happily taking my test. A car was driving in the side road next to the carriage-way. It went through a puddle at quite a speed producing a wave that went right over my car. My windscreen wipers were already on but i still couldn't see anything thing in front or behind me for a couple of seconds. I couldn't slow done as i didn't know how close the cars behind me were. I was terrified and it felt like I was on Tidal Wave.

So i failed my driving test on Friday the 13th.

Hence yesterday i wasn't in the best of moods. But after a few hours of playing Uncharted 2 then watching some Scubs (alway an uplifting show) and playing Sims 2 i felt much better but then I was too tired to write another post.

Now u may be thinking that u had no idea that i was taking my test. Don't worry u weren't supposed to. Only my parents knew. None of my friends or even my sister knew. I didn't want anyone to know as it would add pressure making me even more nervous.

So yeah that's about it. I'll try again.
